GRIFFITH in New South Wales will host a new event next month, focusing on spreading and spraying application.

The AgApply event will be held at the Griffith Showgrounds from 17-19 February and is being presented by the Australian Groundsprayers Association (AGA).

Organisers say AgApply has been created specifically for growers, large-scale users and contractors, bringing together spraying and spreading equipment, precision technology and best-practice application.

The event includes two days of static exhibition followed by a demonstration day (on Thursday 19 February) for participating brands.

Attendees will be able to see the latest offerings in terms of sprayers and spreaders, take part in walk-arounds with product specialists and have direct conversations with the people who design, build and support this equipment.

"Serious agriculture operators and owners are placing more emphasis on spreading and spraying than ever before," said Andrew Kennedy, AGA president.

Specifically, AgApply will showcase sprayers and spreaders, precision application technology, nozzles, booms and delivery systems, calibration and accuracy, safety and chemical handling, GPS, rate and section control and new product releases.

AgApply is open to primary producers, contractors, advisors and industry participants from across Australia.
