RESEARCH into the application of a virulent footrot vaccination in Western Australia could lead to the development of flock-specific vaccines and a major step forward in combating the disease.
The research is funded by the Sheep and Goat Industry Funding Scheme through producer contributions to control the spread of virulent footrot in WA.
Funding enables sheep industry to raise funds for programs to address pest and disease threats.
