The Michelin Evobib has a two-in-one purpose in that it has a narrower contact point of rubber to the ground when inflated at higher air pressures for road use and a wider contact footprint at lower pressures for in paddock use.

At the recommended pressure on the road, only the central portion of the tread pattern is in contact with the ground. In-field tyre pressure can be as low as 0.6bar.
