THE smartphone stalwarts Apple and Samsung seem to be the Ford and Holden equivalents of mobile phones, with many users polarised in their opinions of their preferred handset. Unfortunately, there is a fair legacy effect when changing over from an old model to a brand new model, with many users simply preferring to stick with the same manufacturer, or at least the same operating system (iOS or Android).
