FARMING Ahead editor, Mark Saunders, had the chance to catch up with CNH product specialist, Ryan O'Sullivan, after Elmore Field Days in Victoria last month, to get the rundown on Case IH's highest horsepower tractor.
The new Steiger 785 Quadtrac has a maximum power output of 636kW (853hp), with rated power 586kW (785hp) at 1900 engine rpm. It shares similar features to the award-winning Quadtrac 715, including the electric-lift bonnet and Cursor 16 (16 litre) FPT two-stage turbo diesel engine which will be Tier 2 emissions compliant for the Australian market meaning there is no AdBlue (diesel exhaust fluid).
Check out some of the tractor's key features and see it in action.
