The logistics of the exercise are complicated but well-practiced with the testing having been repeated more than ten times previously.

However, previous tests have only involved around a dozen handsets. Working with the team at Choice magazine, the Kondinin Group engineers have expanded the list of handsets to test up to 31 including the Samsung S7 Edge, Google Pixel and iPhone 7 as well as six others from the Apple stable which currently account for around 60 per cent of the handsets used by Kondinin Group members.

The team will also be testing a CelFi Go, a legal and approved in-car repeater with a four different car-mounted antennas which is expected to extend the serviceable range of the handsets significantly. This will be the first time the team has tested an in-car repeater.

The full report will be written up and appear on the Farming Ahead website and magazine.
