The EasyCut 400CRS has eight cutting discs and requires a minimum of 75kW (100hp) of power from a tractor to run it.

Kubota says the mower offers farmers a cleaner, more even cut due to the unique positioning of the cutting discs, which increases blade overlap.

Kubota Australia product manager, Ash Swayn, said the EasyCut 400CRS is true innovation for Australian farmers.

"This product has been designed specifically for farmers growing leafy crops like lucerne, alfalfa, native hay or Bermuda grass, it really is a cut above the rest," Swayn said.

"What make (sic) the EasyCut 400CRS unique is its M-roll conditioning, which sees intermeshing steel rolls deliver a crimp-and-crush action providing a softer crimp with quicker drying in all conditions and less damage for a better final product.

"This movement provides consistent conditioning through uneven crop volumes. It is especially effective for stiff or heavy stem material and allows yields to dry faster in the field.

"The rolls are also extremely durable and require minimal maintenance, boosting productivity on the farm."

Suspension springs located in the trailing headstock mean the EasyCut 400CRS can travel freely in the field, while hydraulic cylinders allow the machine to be raised off the ground.

"Another fantastic feature of the EasyCut 400CRS is its ability to navigate a range of terrain," Swayn said.

"The two-point hitch connection allows the EasyCut 400CRS to conduct tight turns, reducing wear and tear on the PTO shaft and increasing the machine's durability.

"It also has an immediate float response when encountering an obstacle, again reducing wear and tear."
