THE Victorian Government is running an on-farm Internet of Things (IoT) trial in four key agricultural areas, covering Victoria's major agriculture sectors of dairy, broad-acre cropping, sheep, and horticulture.

Agriculture Victoria is seeking farmer input for an Internet of Things trial.

Insights gained through the trial will drive the Victorian Government's longer-term response to IT and will cover agricultural sectors at four sites around Maffra, Tatura, Serpentine and Birchip.

Farmers participating in the trial will be able to select IoT solutions to trial on their farm.
The IoT solutions used in the trial should help participants make more informed decisions about the performance of their farm.
