New monthly record set for Australian beef exports

Australian beef exports hit 134,593 tonnes in June - the highest monthly total on record.

Curtis Stone’s restaurant in the US made special mention of Tasmania’s Cape Grim Beef in the World’s Top 101 Best Steak Restaurants guide, with MLA reporting at least 38 of the steakhouses had Aussie beef on the menu. MLA said Australia’s reputation for providing high quality beef is one of the drivers of record export volumes.
