Minimising calf wastage

Calf wastage refers to calf losses in a breeding herd between pregnancy testing and weaning. It is one of the major drivers of production and profitability in a beef enterprise. Pamela Lawson, Kondinin Group, looks at the causes of calf wastage and how losses can be minimised.
