GrainCorp reported over 1.5m tonnes of grain were received at its various sites, including 963,100 in New South Wales, which had a notably slow start to harvest this season.

Strong volumes have been received across the east coast, in particular the northern areas of New South Wales, however progress in southern NSW has been limited.

Progress has also been slow in Victoria, with almost 100,000 tonnes delivered this week to take the state’s total to 126,700, however volumes are expected to increase this week.

With harvest in Central Queensland almost complete, the GrainCorp network has totalled 2,758,100 tonnes of grain as at November 21.
