Queensland’s harvest is well underway, with 859,000 tonnes delivered to the state’s GrainCorp sites as of last week, with most of the activity centred around Emerald in the Central Highlands, and Goondiwindi near the NSW border.

The first deliveries for northern NSW were received across Moree North and Burren Junction, while other regions have started deliveries after dry weather allowed the crops to ripen.

Approximately 330,000 tonnes have been delivered to GrainCorp’s NSW sites as of last week.

But Victoria and southern NSW have been slow to start, with just 27,000 tonnes received as of last week, taking GrainCorp’s total to 1,216,000 tonnes.
