The Cattle Caller is a portable feeder which gives producers control over feeding regimes, being able to remotely feed cattle at the most optimal time of day and with an accurate ration.

The feeder can deliver up to seven ration-controlled feeds per day via a computer-controlled system, is solar powered and the cattle can be ‘called' or alerted to the feeder by an alarm sounding.

The new feeder can remove the need for bucket feeding, trough feeding and trail feeding which can be labour intensive activities.

Other features of the Cattle Caller include red and green indicator lights to show the feeder's operational status, feed can be weighed into the feed trough to a pre-set quantity, and feed times can be pre-set.

A safety shut off system closes the feed doors if power failure occurs.
