Calf deformities cause concern

CALVES born with deformities can cause great distress for beef cattle producers, notably because the cause can be very difficult to determine. Prompt blood and hair testing can help determine if disease, nutrition or genetics are to blame. But outbreaks are often sporadic and the cause may well remain a mystery.
