With many farmers facing some of the driest conditions in Australia's history, the forums provide an opportunity for the rural community to share experiences and discuss ways to build resilience as well as give some practical insights for preparing for the future.

Organisers said the forums will run for 2.5-3 hours each and be a great chance for anyone living in rural communities to have a rural health check up.

Guest speakers at the forum include Dennis Hoiberg, Gerard O'Brien and Alister Bennett.
Hoiberg is an organisational consultant with more than 30 years' experience working with individuals and teams to achieve personal satisfaction, excellence and high performance.

He is a highly sought-after public speaker on the subject of emotional well-being and resilience.

O'Brien is the director of accounting firm RSM Australia and a chartered accountant with more than 25 years of business and personal farming experience. He has a comprehensive understanding of the rural and local issues faced by farmers in what is an unprecedented drought event in NSW and beyond.

Bennett is the NSW state agribusiness manager of the ANZ and has more than 30 years' experience working as a banker within the agribusiness sector across Australia and New Zealand. His experience extends from dealing directly with farmers and rural communities through to developing banking products and services.

The Big Community Muster forums will be held in many regional towns this week from Deniliquin to Gunnedah.
