Krista - a banana farmer who is a passionate advocate for reducing food waste - won the title from a field of seven women - one from each state in Australia.

Krista is from the town of Walkamin and is a leader in agricultural innovation and the co-founder and managing director of Natural Evolution Foods, a world-first company specialising in gluten-free green banana flour products.

She has more recently focused on adding value to other products such as sweet potatoes. A dynamic mum of two, Krista's motto is "to solve the world's problems and make people's lives better".

She is a keen advocate for innovation and disruption, and passionate about reinvigorating the Australian food manufacturing industry.
