The new 8330 has several changes, including a new cab and styling as well as more power and torque thanks to its 8.4 litre, six-cylinder engine which meets Euro Stage 4 and US Tier 4 Final emissions standards.
There's also a new high speed hydrostatic steering system, new tyre options and a more compact front linkage and PTO package.
Rated power output of the 8330 Fastrac is 250kW or 335hp with a boost of up to 260kW or 348hp available under full load.
Peak torque is 1440Nm at 1500rpm. The new 8330 also comes with JCB Activ Traction, a key feature which works with the JCB's Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) to help retain grip during heavy draft applications.
JCB Activ Traction draws information from a radar speed sensor, hydraulics position control and cruise control to manipulate engine torque and maintain traction for the most cost-efficient performance.
In the new Command Plus cab, there's a driver's seat which can swivel 50 degrees to the right and 20 degrees left and a unique hydrostatic, dual steering system is used, which replaces the power-assisted mechanical system on previous models.
The system is predominately two hydrostatic systems in one, using an advanced control valve to continuously monitor pressures and flows in both systems. Top speed is a fast 70km/h.
