You don’t need a PhD, or a farm the size of Tasmania to be the Australian Farmer of the Year, you just need to be passionate.

Nominations for the 2017 Australian Farmer of the Year Awards will close in June.

Finalists in five categories will travel to Canberra to be part of the awards presentation and dignitary luncheon, where winners will be announced including the overall Australian Farmer of the Year of 2017.

The awards presentation will be held at Parliament House on Wednesday, 16 August 2017.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

  • Recognition for you, your family and your team members;
  • Opens doors for industry contacts, clients, and supplier deals;
  • Valuable PR and marketing opportunities for your business;
  • Gain business confidence and negotiating power; and
  • The chance for you and your guests to experience the best night out in Australian farming.

NOMINATIONS CLOSE IN JUNE!

If you’re interested in nominating yourself, a family member or someone in your association, act now as time is running out!

This is your chance to tell the nation about your (or your nominees) amazing work and outstanding contribution to Australian agriculture, as there will be no further extensions.
