WIDE OPEN Agriculture has been granted an industrial hemp licence by the Western Australian Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, to cultivate and harvest industrial hemp at its pilot shade house site, located near Arthur River.
Arthur River will be home to an industrial hemp licence.
Work will begin immediately on sourcing suitable varieties for a research and development (R&D) program to trial and assess industrial hemp production under both protected cropping and open field conditions....
