The $4.5 million regional program aims to grow the competitiveness of WA's regions through innovation, business growth and job creation.
The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development is working with the nine WA Regional Development Commissions to administer the fund in partnership with regional stakeholders.
Department Industry and Economic Development Deputy Director General Niegel Grazia said the Regional New Industries Fund provided two funding streams, one for region specific projects and the other for state-wide projects.
