Tune in to Red Meat Industry Forum & MLA AGM

The MLA AGM will be live streamed and available to view through the MLA website allowing producers who are unable to attend to hear from MLA and industry representatives about the latest marketing and R&D priorities and what the future holds.

The theme for this year's program is 'Towards 2020 and Beyond - Fostering Prosperity in the Red Meat Industry', which will have a specific focus on the future, as well as the current state of the red meat and livestock industry.

The Red Meat Advisory Council will host a session featuring an industry update from RMAC Chair Don Mackay, followed by a moderated panel session for an engaging discussion on industry issues.

The forums will be followed by MLA's AGM which will include MLA Chair Michele Allan reporting on the company's performance and governance for the last year. MLA Managing Director Richard Norton will present MLA's vision for the industry to 2020 and beyond.

MLA members are encouraged to ask questions and make comments about MLA's operations, its audited financial report and the performance of the Board and senior management.

Members are invited to submit questions on notice to MLA at any time up to 3.30pm on 8 November 2016. The Chair and MD will provide answers to these at the meeting. To submit questions on notice please email questions@mla.com.au.

MLA members who cannot attend the AGM can vote by proxy or attorney. To do so, return your completed proxy via post or online by 3pm (SA time) on 8 November 2016.
