Horsham, Victoria-based RFMNT Ag recently exhibited the multi-purpose coil press wheels at the National Farm Machinery Show held in Kentucky in the US.

Poly Tech is a US supplier of a range of parts for agricultural machinery including tillage and seeding gear and will distribute the RFMNT press wheels.

RFMNT owner Paul Ryan was at the NFMS to showcase the coil press wheels, which are available in several designs.

The basic design of the press wheel is a coiled round bar, which allows the unit to flex and squeeze to provide seed/soil contact and prevent soil build up on the coil itself.

The wheels can be either two or three-coil with the larger, three-coil models able to be used as a gauge or depth wheel.
