September will be a month to remember for champion shearer Ethan Harder, after he won the open final at the Perth Royal Show on Saturday, and was announced as an ambassador for the industry, less than a week after breaking a world shearing record.

The young shearer from Bruce Rock, Western Australia, broke the world record after shearing 624 Merino lambs in eight hours on 18 September.
