High alert for red fire ants in NSW

<p>THE New South Wales Department of Primary Industries has issued a warning for land owners to keep an eye out for red imported fire ants after 140 staff and volunteers from DPI, Local Land Services, NSW Police Force, Rural Fire Service and NSW State Emergency Service inspected over 600 backyards to check for ant activity last week.</p>
