WORKSHOP: Healthy fuel for small engines

PUMPS, augers, generators, air compressors and chainsaws; they all have engines and they can all cause trouble occasionally. While small engines are notorious for starting difficulties when they have sat idle for any length of time, the problem becomes quite serious in the case of fire fighting equipment. Most of us will check our units are working properly before harvest or fire season, but sometimes even the best of us can get caught short.
