Fish kill a disaster

AN unprecedented fish kill in the lower Darling river system near Menindee in New South Wales has highlighted the need for better water management in the state.

The fish kill, with dead fish numbers potentially near one million, was brought to the public's attention via video on social media two weeks ago, posted by farmer Rob McBride and Menindee local Dick Arnold....
