EYCI reaches new record of 1065.97c/kg.

AFTER a slight fall in previous weeks, the Eastern Young Cattle Indicator (EYCI) rebounded 2.7 per cent, or 28.3c/kg, to hit a new record of 1065.97c/kg carcase weight (cwt).

The EYCI has hit a new record after rebounding from a slight fall.

The increase in the EYCI is being helped by high prices in saleyards at Gunnedah, Wagga and Tamworth, New South Wales.

The higher EYCI has correlated with increased yardings.
