THE Eastern Young Cattle Indicator (EYCI) fell 34c/kg or three per cent last week as supply through Roma in Queensland surged, according to Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA).

The EYCI has had a slight fall this week as supply surged.

Roma is the biggest contributor of EYCI cattle and had 44 per cent more head transacted last week, which put downward pressure on prices.
