Another case of anthrax confirmed in southern Queensland

BISOECURITY Queensland has announced that a case of anthrax in cattle was confirmed in the Dirranbandi-St George area of the state in early July 2018. The detection is the fourth incident in cattle in the region since 2016. In March this year, Queensland Minister for Agricultural Industry Development Mark Furner announced there had been an anthrax case near St George, which resulted in a small number of cattle deaths.
