Keynote speaker, Dr Andrew Moore, Leader, Digiscape Future Science Platform with the CSIRO, framed the technology conversation with a presentation on the fourth industrial revolution and how this will influence agricultural decision making.

Moore explained the role that artificial intelligence (AI) will likely play in future agricultural practice and outlined some of the challenges that will need to be overcome to see AI become commonplace.

Kondinin Group engineers, Ben White and Josh Giumelli were asked to speak about the global progress being made in the world of machine automation, drawing on their observations from Agritechnica, the biannual machinery exhibition held in Northern Germany attended with Kondinin Group machinery expert, Mark Saunders.
