Wheatbelt lobbies for action on rail service

WITH the parliamentary inquiry into the rail lease in Western Australia tabled in Parliament, the Wheatbelt Railway Retention Alliance says the challenge is now to keep the pressure on the state government to act on the findings and recommendations.

WRRA said the report showed what it had said was close to spot on.

There were 35 findings and 22 recommendations.

WRRA said it was particularly urgent for the government to address these.
