Close monitoring recommended for some wheat varieties

A NEW stripe rust pathotype detected at two separate locations in Victoria during 2017 may have important implications for some wheat varieties grown in eastern Australia.

Studies during 2018 will better establish the likely impact of this new pathotype on affected wheat varieties. For most wheat varieties, stripe rust ratings will not change in light of this new detection....
