Stubble and frost research proves its worth

A LONG-TERM research project investigating the effects of stubble retention and frost has wrapped up in the Riverina region of New South Wales and northern Victoria.

Farmers spent a couple of hours yesterday on a property near Yarrawonga, Victoria, hearing the results of the research which showed that different stubble treatments did not significantly impact crop yields....
