Figures confirm historically hot April

APRIL was the second-warmest the month has been on record for Australia, according to figures released by the Bureau of Meteorology, with the national monthly mean temperature 2.38 degrees Celsius above average, just 0.28 degrees behind the record of +2.66 set in 2005.
