Warning on the rise of crown rot

DETECTIONS of fusarium crown rot in Western Australian cereal crops have increased this season, particularly in central and northern cropping regions, according to Grains Research and Development Corporation western regional panel member Chris Wilkins.

This follows more intensive cereal production and favourable seasonal conditions in 2013 and 2014.
