<p>Geo-located soil sampling is the most accurate way of gathering information to enable targeted soil amelioration, such as lime application to address acidity. But determining how many samples need to be taken in a given area to ensure VRT input application maps is a complex question which was the nub of a project in the South Stirlings region, Western Australia.</p>
